UK: The Office of Rail & Road is seeking feedback on its plans to modernise and simplify its Investment Framework.
Originally published in 2006 and last updated in 2010, the Investment Framework contains ORR’s policy and guidelines and sets out the legislation and processes for anyone who wishes to invest in the rail industry, including the role of respective parties and remedies for issues that may arise.
At this stage ORR is not proposing any substantive changes to the policy, but it would like feedback on the clarity and comprehensiveness of the draft framework to help it ensure that the document is as simple as possible and provides investors with clear guidance in a user-friendly way.
The closing date for responses to the consultation is July 29.
