UK: ScotRail has announced the appointment of Joanne Maguire to succeed Ian McConnell as Chief Operating Officer on April 1, when the train operator transfers from Abellio to public body Scottish Rail Holdings.
Maguire is currently Vice-Principal — Resources at the University of the West of Scotland, and was previously Executive Director for HR at the university. She has held senior leadership roles at City of Glasgow College, as well as in the manufacturing and retail sectors.
