UK: Transport for Wales has launched an innovation accelerator programme which will provide a series of ‘innovation sprint’, product design and value proposition workshops in Newport, along with mentoring and additional training
At the end of the 12-week Lab by Transport for Wales programme, applicants will be able to pitch their ideas to TfW Rail decision makers. Successful candidates would then be awarded a contract and their technology launched on the TfW Rail network.
‘If you have an idea, a design or a product that could be adapted to benefit the railway then we want to hear from you’, said Head of Customer Experience and Innovation Barry Lloyd. Applications should be submitted by October 28.
