UK: Transport for London has announced senior leadership appointments with effect from this month.
On Commissioner Andy Byford’s departure, Andy Lord will become Commissioner on an interim basis from October 25, with TfL’s current Director of Network Management & Resilience Glynn Barton becoming interim Chief Operating Officer.
Rachel McLean has been appointed as managing Chief Finance Officer with effect from October 31.
She is currently CFO for Crossrail and Finance Director for Operations, having re-joined TfL in January 2020 from the Ministry of Housing, Communities, and Local Government.
McLean’s appointment follows the departure of Simon Kilonback in April. Patrick Doig, who has led TfL’s finance team as the statutory CFO, will resume his role as Group Finance Director and will remain as statutory CFO, a role he has held since May 2021.
