UK: Greenbrier Europe has awarded Wabtec UK’s Axiom Rail Freight business a £8·2m contract to supply TF25 bogies for two batches of 102 tonne box wagons which it is to build in Romania for delivery to the UK in 2022.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the TF25 bogie, which is now fitted to almost 4 000 open, hopper and tank wagons in the UK, including more than 2 800 built by Greenbrier.
