UK: Leasing company Touax has awarded Mandy Rail a long-term contract maintain wagons, including vehicles leased by GB Railfreight and DB Cargo.
Mandy Rail was co-founded by joint managing directors Mark Hedley and Andy Hird in 2019. ‘Contracts such as this bring continued stability and allow for further growth’, said Hedley on October 18. ‘Mandy Rail is a close-knit team, and I am delighted for everyone who works with us as we continue to build our company’s presence and excellent reputation in the market.’
Hird said ’our successes in our first three years of trading is proof that hard work pays off. We’ve got a fantastic team behind us and a great vision as to how we will continue to build Mandy Rail by providing the highest quality in maintaining freight wagons.’
Cédric Scheiffer, Touax’s Maintenance Organisation Manager, said Mandy Rail is ‘committed and motivated’, and the contract is proof that Touax ‘believes in the team and its capacities’.
