MOROCCO: Casablanca tram operator Casa Transport has selected Engie Group subsidiaries Engie Ineo and Engie Cofely Morocco to supply signalling and other systems for Line 2 and an extension of the existing Line 1.
In addition to supplying signalling, communications, CCTV and fire detection equipment, Engie will install its Navineo control system, which will enable the provision of real-time passenger information to displays at stops and on trams.
The 22·5 km Line 2 with 33 stops and the 1·8 km Line 1 extension are due to open in late 2018.
