GERMANY: Wascosa has handed over 45 Eamnos open wagons to Havelländische Eisenbahn, which will use them primarily for transporting building materials
The wagons were manufactured by Greenbrier in Poland.
‘As the fourth largest lessor of freight wagons, Wascosa will continue its vigorous investment strategy to develop an even broader wagon portfolio which now includes virtually all relevant wagon types’, said Wascosa Managing Director Peter Balzer.
‘We are convinced that the critical size of a wagon lessor is shifting ever upwards. Qualitative and quantitative growth is therefore essential, together with the ability to successfully complete our transformation into a digitalised railway world.’
