Knorr-Bremse’s North American subsidiary New York Air Brake has acquired Snyder Equipment Co, a Missouri-based locomotive fuelling and servicing equipment producer and component remanufacturer. ‘With the addition of Snyder’s top-line products to our portfolio, railroad and support service customers will be able to turn to NYAB as a one-stop destination for an even wider range’, said NYAB President & CEO Ulisses Camilo.
PK TS’s Tver factory began using welding robots to work on tram bogies on March 16. Work is also underway to prepare the factory for the assembly of aluminium bodyshells, which is due to begin at the end of the year.
