Aqaba Railway Corp
ARC leases the portion of the Hedjaz Jordan Railway from Menzil to Batn el Ghul, and owns the 115 km extension to Aqaba Port which was opened in 1975. It serves phosphate mines at El Hasa, Wadi El Abyad and Shidyia, carrying the phosphate to Aqaba for export.
