The Bayerische Oberlandbahn GmbH (BOB) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Transdev GmbH. It operates a 120 km route between Müchen and Bayrischzell/Tegernsee/Lenggries. In December 2013 it also started operations between Müchen – Rosenheim – Salzburg/Kufstein and Müchen – Holzkirchen – Rosenheim under the brand name Meridian.
