Four of the six lines are wholly or partly rack-operated -- the Berner Oberland (BOB), Schynige Platte-Bahn (SPB) and Wengernalpbahn (WAB) on the Riggenbach system and the Jungfraubahn (JB) on the Strub system. The Bergbahn Lauterbrunnen--Mürren (BLM) comprises 1·4 km cableway and the remainder adhesion.
