Chandigarh Metro Rail Corporation
In 2012 Delhi Metro Rail Corp submitted plans for a metro serving Chandigarh in eastern Punjab state. A first phase envisages a north-south Red line from Capitol to Aerocity (16 km) and an east-west Blue line from Sector 21 to Mullanpur (22 km) with a total of 30 stations.
