Comboios de Portugal (CP)
Railways were nationalised in 1975 and CP took over the Estoril Railway in 1977. Separation of infrastructure management from day-to-day operations was completed in 1999, when the infrastructure authority REFER (now Infraestruturas de Portugal SA) became fully operational.
