The Oschatz–Mügeln–Kemmlitz/Glossen route was taken over by DBG in 1993. This former-DR narrow-gauge line lies 50 km east of Leipzig and is the remaining section of a once extensive network opened in 1884. It is operated by Deutsche Regionaleisenbahn GmbH.
