State Railway of Thailand (SRT)
First line opened 1897. Original lines were to 1 435 mm gauge, but converted between 1919 and 1930 to 1 000 mm gauge. State Railway established as an autonomous body in 1951. Restructuring in 2010 created new Traffic, Property and Rolling Stock Maintenance businesses.
