EUROPE: The TX Logistik AB Swedish freight subsidiary of the Italian state railway FS Group has completed a ‘complex’ process to replace its A and B safety certificates for Sweden and the B certificate for Denmark with a Single Safety Certificate for both countries.
The certificate issued through the European Union Agency for Railways has a term of five years and is valid until the beginning of December 2027.
It is valid without restriction and includes the transport of dangerous goods as well as operation on the Øresund Bridge.
TX Logistik started preparations for re-certification in December 2021, and said core element of the work, which required a total of more than 3 200 working hours, was the conversion to a process-oriented safety management system.
