According to RZD President Oleg Belozerov, this will enable customers to order and pay for transport online, and also make it possible for third parties to pay for services, ‘without lengthy approval procedures and with transparent pricing’. Meeting shippers on March 15, Belozerov said ‘much has been done to simplify the process of obtaining the services offered by RZD’ during the past year, including reducing the deadline for booking fright transport from 10 days to 24 h. ‘In the third quarter of 2017, we plan to switch completely to accepting, processing and agreeing to orders for domestic transport in automated mode’, he said.
