FRANCE: Colas has won two contracts for the construction of the second tram line in Angers.

The 10·1 km route would run from Belle-Beille in the west to Monplaisir in the northeast, crossing the Maine River on a new bridge.

Colas Rail has a €42m contract to build the foundation and lay track, along with installing the power supply and building a depot extension. Work is due to begin in late 2018 for completion in mid-2021.

A consortium of Colas Projects, TPPL and Colas Centre-Ouest has won a €20·7m contract for road surface works on the western section of the route. Work would begin in May 2020 and is due to last until June 2022.
