GABON: Railway concessionaire Sociéte d’Exploitation du Transgabonais has awarded ENSCO a 12-month contract to provide track geometry measurement services.
ENSCO is to supply and install its measuring equipment on one of SETRAG’s existing vehicles. The company will also provide comprehensive training for the SETRAG personnel to operate the system.
The measurement campaign is intended to assist the operator to optimise its inspection regime and the results will feed into the planning of track maintenance for the 648 km network, helping to reduce the time spent on the work.
