AUSTRALIA: Infrastructure manager ARTC has awarded Vossloh Cogifer Australia a €50m contract to supply turnouts for the Inland Rail freight line project.
Deliveries are scheduled to take place over five years starting in March this year.
‘This order is the biggest in the history of Vossloh in Australia’, said Vossloh AG CEO Oliver Schuster on January 20. ‘It highlights our strong market position and the increasing importance of the Australian market. We are honoured that our long-standing customer ARTC has once again placed its trust in us and that we can contribute to the biggest rail infrastructure project for freight transport in Australia.’
