RUF GROUP: ‘More than passenger information’ will be the motto of the Ruf Group’s stand at InnoTrans.
The Swiss company will be presenting its VisiWeb data transfer technology which can be used for both passenger information and safety applications. Visitors will be able to see examples of the real-time exchange of data, messages and scheduled changes between public transport vehicles, stops, control rooms and passengers.
Also on show will be passenger intercoms designed and built by Ruf. The use of open Voice over IP standards mean these can be integrated into third-party platforms as easily as into the VisiWeb environment.
Meanwhile, the new VisiWeb surveillance camera is designed to provide good quality recordings even under rapidly changing light conditions, and it has a high impact resistance for protection against vandals.
