INNOTRANS: Siemens Mobility CEO Michael Peter is the guest on the latest InnoTrans podcast, discussing how the transport sector can contribute to reaching Europe’s climate targets
Topics covered in the third episode of the podcast released by trade fair organiser Messe Berlin on April 13 include Siemens Mobility’s work to develop hydrogen fuel cell and battery technology to replace diesel traction, the need for ETCS to facilitate cross-border operation in Europe and opportunities for digitalisation, automation and driverless operation.
‘We need to focus on the right technologies now, in order to get more people enthusiastic about public transport’, Peter emphasised.
The fourth InnoTrans podcast is scheduled to be released on May 11, when the guest speaker will be Cornelius Weitzmann, CEO of Voith Turbo.
