FRANCE: A 5·5 km extension of Bordeaux tram Line D was opened on February 29, connecting Mairie du Bouscat to Eysines Cantinolle.
The €250m project included nine stops and two car parks, which have all entered opened on the same day.
Line D now runs 9·8 km from Carle Vernet to Eysines Cantinolle, including 4 km which is shared with Line C.
A further extension of Line D northwest towards Le Taillan-Médoc and Saint-Médard-en-Jalles is currently being planned, with a target opening date of 2024.
