RUSSIA: The St Petersburg municipal government has directly awarded PK TS an 11·6bn rouble contract to supply trams.
The order confirmed on April 8 covers 23 two-section 71-923M Bogatyr-M and 58 three-section 71-931M Vityaz-M trams in both single and double-ended versions for delivery from September 2022 to November 2023, but the scope of the order may change in the future.
The costs are put at 4·66bn roubles in 2022 and 6·96bn rouble in 2023, though there is scope for the prices to be revised if inflation varies from forecasts by more than 5%.
