CZECH REPUBLIC: Eurovia has begun work on a KC200m six-month project to build the Depo Hostivař tram stop and turning circle close to the eastern terminus of Praha metro Line A.
New track will provide a triangular junction at the intersection of ul Černokostelecka and ul Sazečska, facilitating a planned extension further eastwards to the Štěrbohol estate.
The tram stop forms part of the development of a larger transport hub, which will include a 649 space park-and-ride site and a halt on the S49 Roztoky – Hostivař commuter railway.
