Krakow tram depot

POLAND: Stadler has begun dynamic test of its TINA tram bogie, which is designed to improve ride quality while reducing noise and wear of the moving parts.

The bogie is being tested in Kraków on a Tango tram which was built for research purposes. This is similar to the Tango low-floor trams Stadler Polska has supplied to operator MPK Kraków, which are branded Lajkonik after a hobbyhorse-riding character who is a symbol of the city.

Testing without passengers onboard is expected to last about a year, ahead of approval of the TINA design for mass production.
