POLAND: A consortium of Przedsiębiorstwo Drogowo-Budowlane Kemy and MPK-Łódź has been awarded a 80·6m złoty design and build contract to rehabilitate the out of use tram line between the city of Łódź and Konstantynów.
The 7 km route running west from the Zdrowie terminus in Łódź to Plac Wolności in Konstantynów will remain partly single track with passing loops.
The project is expected to take 16 months.
