POLAND: MPK Wrocław has placed a firm order for Modertrans to supply a further 21 Moderus Gamma trams.
The order confirmed on March 8 has been placed using an option a contract for 26 trams which was agreed in September 2020, and takes the total value to 372m złoty. Deliveries are scheduled to run from autumn 2022 until 2024.
Work to finalise the designs is underway, and the public has been asked to choose upholstery designs with options including the city’s coat of arms, Grunwaldzki Bridge, Brama Zoo and Hala Stulecia concert venue.
