USA: Dallas Area Rapid Transit inaugurated an extension of the Orange Line to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on August 15, with revenue services starting three days later.
The first stage of the Orange Line opened in July 2012, with a 6·5 km extension to Belt Line Road opening in December that year. The latest extension adds 7·6 km and one station, at the airport’s Terminal A.
Services run seven days a week, with the first train arriving at the airport at 03.50 and the last at 01.19. The journey time to Dallas city centre is 50 min.
