Appenzeller Bahnen AG (AB)
Comprises the former Appenzeller Bahn (Gossau—Appenzell—Wasserauen), and St Gallen—Gais—Appenzell and Gais—Altstätten routes serving the Appenzell mountains in northeast Switzerland. In 2021 the Frauenfeld-Wil Bahn was formally merged with AB, having been managed by the company since 2003.
