FRANCE: The first of 16 Urbos trams that CAF is supplying to Saint-Etienne entered revenue service on the city’s metre gauge network on May 3.
CAF was selected for the €42m order in late 2014, and is assembling the five-section trams at its Bagnères-de-Bigorre plant in southern France. The 100% bidirectional low-floor trams are 33 m long and 2 150 mm wide.
