POLAND: Solaris Bus & Coach is to supply 10 Urbino 8,9 LE electric buses to Stalowa Wola. The city has placed the order alongside a contract for nine diesel buses.
Due to be delivered in early 2018, the buses will each be powered by four batteries feeding a 160 kW traction motor. They will be equipped with USB sockets, wi-fi, CCTV and a passenger counting system.
Ekoenergetyka-Polska is supplying three 200 kW pantograph charging stations for fast charging along the route and five double output depot chargers.
