LUXEMBOURG: Irizar has presented six electric buses from the 10 that it is supplying to Luxembourg.
The 12 m long Irizar ie buses will operate on Route 290, which links Luxembourg City with Mersch to the north.
The buses have a range of 200 km and are expecte to run for 16 h per day. They will be charged overnight at the new Bissen depot, for which Irizar has supplied six chargers. An Eco Assist driver assistance system helps to save energy.
Irizar is also suppling four 18 m long battery buses, which are to be delivered later this year.
