GERMANY: Hamburg-Holstein transport authority VHH has ordered 17 Lion City E buses from MAN Truck & Bus.
A pre-series vehicle is due to be delivered at the end of December for testing, ahead of the start of series deliveries in the second half of 2020; these are due to be completed by the end of the year.
The 12 m long vehicles will have capacity for 88 passengers. MAN says that the roof-mounted batteries with a total capacity of 480 kWh would provide a range of 200 km, or up to 270 km in favourable conditions.
