SWEDEN: Transdev has placed an order for 157 electric buses from Volvo for use in Göteborg, the supplier announced on November 5.
Deliveries of Volvo’s 7900 electric articulated vehicles are due to begin next year. The buses will have capacity for 150 passengers, and batteries will be charged from OppCharge fast-charging stations that Volvo is also supplying for installation along the routes.
Transdev has also ordered 27 biodiesel buses meeting Euro VI emissions standards that are intended for regional operations that.
