PORTABLE lighting supplier SA Equipment has launched a backpack version of its 12V Rechargeable Worklite Kit which can be used to illuminate trackside locations accessible by foot.
The backpack contains a powerful Worklite lamp with twin 18W fluorescent tubes, as well as a portable stand and rechargeable battery module. It is designed to be carried over long distances while leaving the operator with freedom of movement.
The Worklite can be used to illuminate a lineside walking route, then quickly erected on its stand while work is carried out on site. The stand can be used on uneven or unprepared surfaces, and is quickly dismantled for storage.
The battery can be recharged from flat in 7 h, and is available with 7 or 12Ah capacity.
