Polish State Railways is planning to introduce a range of improved long-distance trains under the banner Inter City Plus. PKP is to launch the first train, the Kilinski, between Warszawa and Poznan at the request of the Poznan Trade Fair company. Two more services (the Lech and Warta) will also operate on this route. Other trains planned are the Kosciuszko to Kraków, and the Beskidy to Katowice and Bielsko Biala.
Inter City Plus trains will offer passengers an enhanced service, with either breakfast, lunch or dinner included in the ticket price. Trains will be equipped with public telephones, and will carry extra staff to assist passengers.
