Railway map of Moscow, Adelaide track diagrams and Albanian Railway Guide

The first of these three additions to the formidable Quail range fills a major gap by mapping the complex railway network of Russia's capital city. The main map covers lines radiating up to nearly 200 km from the city, including peat railways and a 750mm gauge line, with insets detailing electrification and the test centre at Shcherbinka. The reverse features metro track diagrams, and a 25 km radius central area enlargement showing main lines and the metro. Metro stations of architectural interest are highlighted.

The Adelaide track diagrams cover suburban routes up to 43 km from the city and the Glenelg tramway. The Albanian guide has a small country map, with a main sheet showing track diagrams of the complete network, as well as a timetable, locomotive, rolling stock and speed limit lists. As usual with Quail, opening & closing dates, former names and other detail are shown.

Danske lokomotiver og motorvogne 1997

Departing from the normal 'Taschenbuch' style, this 128-page 150x215mm hardback details the locomotive and railcar motive power of Danish State Railways and the private railways. Types are in alphabetical order by initials, accompanied by colour illustrations, or in two cases by diagrams, of the forthcoming Class MF Adtranz regional railcar on order for three local railways.
