The Supervisory Board of German Railway approved changes to the group’s corporate structure on March 16 that sweep away a level of senior management between the Management Board and the Business Units.
The Business Units are now grouped within three divisions: Passenger Traffic, Transport & Logistics, and Infrastructure & Services, which combines the former Track, Stations and Services divisions. Business Units such as DB Regio, Schenker and Railion now report directly to the Management Board.

The Transport & Logistics Division is led by Dr Norbert Bensel, previously in charge of Personnel; he succeeds Dr Bernd Malmstr
