A CRRC Tangshan metro trainset with permanent magnet synchronous traction equipment supplied by CRRC Times Electric has entered service on Xiamen Metro Line 2, following a similar launch on the Changsha Metro. CRRC said the new traction package offered lower weight, high efficiency and low noise.

Hamburger Hochbahn has signed framework contracts with MAN, Mercedes-Benz and Solaris for a total of 530 battery electric buses offering ranges of between 150 and 200 km for the articulated vehicles and up to 270 km for rigid buses.
Florida’s Collier Area Transit has launched rideCAT, a mobile ticketing app powered by Masabi’s Justride fare payments platform. This removes the need for passengers to handle cash and physical tickets or interact with ticketing infrastructure. Users can also buy tickets online using the web portal and either push them to a mobile device or print them at home. Single, day, 15-day and 30-days passes are available, as well as concessionary fares.
