CHINA: The fourth metro line in Kunming opened at 10.00 on August 29. Trial operations on Line 3 are taking place between 06.20 and 22.45, with fares based on distance.
The 23·4 km east-west route serves 20 stations between Western Hills Park and East Coach Station via West Coach Station. Interchange is provided with Line 6 at East Coach Station and with Line 2 at Dongfeng Square. In the future, interchange with an extended Line 1 will be provided at Panjiwan.
