SAUDI ARABIA: Czech company Passengera has completed its largest contract to date, covering the provision of internet connectivity and wi-fi on the Riyadh metro which is nearing completion.
‘The project includes the design of the communications infrastructure, the installation of wi-fi in several different types of trains and metro stations, quality control, connection strength and seamless user authentication’, said CEO Jan Kolář.
‘Part of the 10-year contract also includes a management and monitoring suite, which enables the metro operator to monitor and manage all of the 1 100 installed devices in real-time.’
