HAMMER: EMKA has introduced an updated design of emergency hammer which passengers can use to break tempered and laminated glass if they need to escape through a train window.
The hammer is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic with a hardened steel tip, and complies with relevant fire protection standards.
There are three versions of the large grip, two of which provide hand protection. The range includes a simple holder or a security holder with a steel retaining cable.
