INTERNATIONAL: Wagon leasing company Ermewa has awarded Amsted Digital a multi-year contract to supply 7 000 solar-powered IQ Series gateways for the real-time monitoring of key components.
‘The IQ Series can activate our Bogie IQ features which include real-time monitoring of wheel flats and the ability to identify operational issues related to brake systems without the need for multiple sensors’, said Brad Myers, Executive Vice-President & Chief Operating Officer of Amsted Digital.
Data collected is converted into actionable intelligence that users can access through Amsted Digital’s cloud-based supply chain visibility platform built on Microsoft Azure.
