UZBEKISTAN: TMH Bryansk has delivered two 2TE25KM twin-section main line freight locomotives to Navoi Mining & Metallurgical Combinat.
The twin-section diesel locomotives are capable of hauling 6 000 tonne trains, which is expected to significantly reduce transport costs for the gold and uranium mining company.
The latest locomotives were ordered in March, following on from an initial two delivered at the end of last year. The manufacturer said they are designed for easy maintenance and to provide comfortable working conditions for the crew.
