POLAND: Freight operator Inter Cargo has leased two Bombardier Traxx locomotives from Railpool under a deal which includes full maintenance.
The Class 186 locomotives will augment Inter Cargo’s own fleet of 22 electric locos, and are being used on domestic services within Poland.
‘We are pleased to welcome Inter Cargo as our new customer’, said Railpool CEO Torsten Lehnert on May 20, a week after the locos were delivered. ‘Inter Cargo and its parent company Budamar Group have two decades of experience in cargo transport and will benefit from the strong performance of our locomotives and our full-service offering, guaranteeing maximum flexibility and vehicle availability.’
