RUSSIA: Rolling stock manufacturer Kambarka Engineering Works has launched a four-axle flat wagon for carrying containers on metre-gauge lines.
The Type SPK-1000 wagon is 12 500 mm long and 2 600 mm wide with a tare weight of 16 tonnes, a carrying capacity of 60 tonnes and mounting points for 20 ft and 40 ft containers.
It is designed for a maximum speed of 60 km/h.
