CHINA: The first of 18 trainsets for the Hangzhou – Shaoxing inter-urban link has been unveiled by the CRRC Puzhen.
The six-car Type B2 trainsets have four powered and two unpowered cars, and will operate at up to 100 km/h.
The line with nine stations is scheduled to open in December. It will connect Guniangqiao on Hangzhou metro Line 5 with Diyang Road on Shaoxing metro Line 1, with 14·4 km of the 20·2 km route being underground.
