AUSTRALIA: Transport for New South Wales has awarded CAF a contract to supply a further four Urbos 100 five-section trams for Sydney’s Inner West Light Rail Line.
Announcing the order in June 29, CAF said the trams are scheduled to be delivered in early 2023, adding to the current fleet of 12.
The 100% low floor five-section trams will be 32 m long and have a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
